Atlas Report – Admin Policy

This Admin Policy defines the roles, permissions, responsibilities, and safeguards governing administrative access to Atlas Report. It exists to protect editorial integrity, platform security, and operational accountability.

1. Purpose

The goal of this policy is to prevent misuse of authority, ensure transparency and security, and support Atlas Report’s precise, concise, truth-oriented news model.

2. Admin Roles & Permissions

Super Admin

  • Full system and platform access
  • Assigning and revoking admin roles
  • Final authority during emergencies
  • Enforcement of all platform policies
  • All actions are logged and auditable

Editor Admin

  • Review, approve, and update news content
  • Enforce the 200–400 word default news standard
  • Approve long-form articles or features when justified
  • Manage corrections and updates
  • No access to user private data or system security

System / AI Admin

  • Configure AI-assisted workflows
  • Maintain automation rules
  • Pause or restrict AI systems when required
  • Ensure AI outputs follow editorial standards
  • No manual publishing or editorial override access

Analytics Admin

  • View traffic and engagement metrics
  • Generate internal performance reports
  • Read-only access with no publishing privileges

3. Content Control Standards

  • Default news length must be 200–400 words
  • Longer articles allowed only when editorially justified
  • Neutral, factual tone is mandatory
  • Speculation or opinion must be clearly labeled
  • All post-publication edits must be logged

4. Authentication & Security

  • Strong passwords are required
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is mandatory
  • Admin sessions are logged and monitored
  • Suspicious activity triggers immediate review

5. Corrections & Overrides

  • Corrections must be factual and transparent
  • Major corrections require Super Admin approval
  • Deletions must include documented justification
  • Original versions are retained internally

6. Moderation & Platform Integrity

  • Remove spam, abuse, misinformation, or harmful content
  • Suspend accounts violating platform rules
  • No unfair suppression of criticism or narrative manipulation

7. Data Access & Privacy

  • Admins access only data required for their role
  • Unauthorized data export is prohibited
  • User privacy is strictly protected

8. Conflict of Interest

  • Admins must declare conflicts of interest
  • Recusal is required when conflicts exist
  • No personal, political, or financial influence

9. Logging & Audit Trail

Every admin action is logged with timestamp and admin ID. Logs are immutable and reviewable by Super Admin.

10. Emergency Powers

In cases of misinformation risk, security breaches, or system instability, Super Admin may pause publishing, disable AI systems, or temporarily restrict admin access. All actions are reviewed later.

11. Enforcement

  • Minor violations → Warning
  • Major violations → Access revocation
  • Severe violations → Permanent ban or legal action

12. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated as Atlas Report evolves. All changes are documented and communicated to admins.
